A Baby’s Closet offers a clothing and equipment incentive program for parents or guardians with children newborn to age 3. Participants earn coupons redeemable for clothing, furniture and supplies for baby. A Baby’s Closet is located at First Christian Church, 4800 S. The Allen County Healthy Homes Program is assesses and educates people about dangers in the home that can pose a threat to their families. The division also collaborates with the Vector Control & Environmental Services division to educate people about injury prevention, radon, pests, mold and moisture issues, and asthma triggers.

Offers financial resources for persons with housing needs, as well as emergency assistance for individuals who are homeless. CANI is a member of Covering Kids & Families of Indiana, Inc. (CKF-IN), a statewide organization committed to ensuring that all children and families eligible for Medicaid and Indiana’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) are enrolled. Healthy Families of Allen County is part of Healthy Families Indiana. It is a free support service, managed by SCAN, to help parents with newborns up to 90 days old who meet assessment criteria develop healthy families. Iris Family Support Center, formerly known as SCAN, focuses on eliminating child abuse and neglect through family services, education and community partnerships.
